Are you a physician passionate about providing exceptional care to seniors? We're seeking a dedicated Medical Director/Attending Physician to join us in a unique opportunity that blends remote flexibility with impactful onsite engagement. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of residents at skilled nursing facilities in Henry, Marshall, and Robinson, Illinois.

Your Role: A Blend of Leadership and Direct Care

This is a 1099 contract position that primarily operates remotely, with 1-2 onsite visits per month to the facilities. You'll be providing professional services to residents, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care. Your responsibilities will encompass both medical director duties and attending physician functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Medical Leadership: Provide medical and procedural consultation, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with facility administrators to identify opportunities for service enhancement, program development, and resource procurement.
Emergency Availability: Be available 24/7 for emergencies, ensuring residents receive timely and appropriate care.
Quality Improvement: Actively participate in monthly Quality Assurance (QA) and/or Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) meetings to drive continuous improvement.
Clinical Pathway Development: Assist in developing clinical pathways to enhance resident care.
Community Engagement: Support facility marketing efforts as requested, helping to build strong community relationships.
Collaborative Care: Work alongside other attending physicians to ensure seamless and high-quality care for all residents.
