Under the direction of the District Office Administrator, the incumbent will function as the Administrative Assistant within CalGEM’s Central District Office. The Administrative Assistant will assist the District Deputy by performing a variety of complex administrative assignments. This position requires attention to detail, independent judgment, initiative, analysis, tact and diplomacy, and a thorough knowledge of sensitive administrative practices.

Working Conditions

This position is located in Bakersfield and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule, with employees required to work in-person at 11000 River Run Blvd, Bakersfield, CA 93311 . At least three days of remote work and up to two days of in-office work per week is the available hybrid telework schedule for this position.

  • This position requires a valid Driver’s License.
