Starting Hourly Rate: $20

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage resident billing inquiries and prepare accurate monthly Private Pay statements.
• Record and reconcile daily census data across all levels of care.
• Monitor Private Pay accounts, process refunds, and refer overdue accounts for collections.
• Track resident financial assets to anticipate Medicaid eligibility and assist with applications.
• Maintain accurate A/R files, process payments, and follow month-end close procedures.
• Support insurance verification for admissions and attend daily census/billing updates.
• Ensure compliance with billing policies and scheduling around monthly cycles.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director or designee.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years healthcare accounting experience with a computerized accounting system. Currently using Point Click Care (PCC).
• Knowledge of Medicare / Medicaid and third party payers preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be computer proficient in Word, Excel and Windows
• Excellent customer service skills
