Corporations contract with Graebel as a trusted supplier for relocating their employees. If a client company would like to move a specific employee from one city to another, then our relocation division works with that employee to administer his or her benefits within the parameters of that company's policy or policies.
The Global Consultant serves as the single point of accountability for assignees and domestic U.S. employees not receiving home sale benefits (e.g. renters or homeowners not selling). Provides superior customer service to client employees relocating internationally as well as within the U.S.
+ Conducts a needs assessment profile during first contact with the relocating employee.
+ Counsels the relocating employee on their company's relocation policy to ensure complete understanding of services to be provided.
+ Set proper expectations with the relocating employee to ensure an exceptional experience.
+ Maintains communications with relocating employee throughout relocation to ensure satisfaction.
+ Utilizes company preferred supplier network to initiate authorized services in a timely manner.
+ Proactively monitors service orders to ensure services are executed in accordance with the provider agreement and Client policy/SLAs.
+ Maintains accurate data in relocation management system.
+ Ensure service providers are delivering services in accordance with authorized benefits and provider agreement.
+ If an issue arises consultant works with service provider to employee corrective actions and if necessary, consultant escalate to immediate manager and supplier development manager.
+ Performs other related essential duties as assigned or requested.
Required Skills
+ Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures and numerical data.
+ Ability to write simple reports and general business correspondence.
+ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, customers and employees.
+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Required Experience
Education
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management preferred or 3+ years of related experience in lieu of formal education.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
+ 1+ years of relevant work experience required.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
+ Ability to learn and work within Software systems
Licenses/Certifications/Specialized Training
+ Certified Relocation Professional preferred.
